Brief Description: This is a case presentation of an elderly diabetic male who presented with sudden onset of unilateral ptosis and fluctuating horizontal diplopia. A differential diagnosis is given and an ice test was performed and is shown. Myasthenia gravis diagnostic features and testing are discussed in detail as are the pathophysiology, clinical course, and treatment of myasthenia gravis.

A differential diagnosis of optic disc edema and cecocentral scotoma and a macular star. A differential diagnosis of optic disc edema with macular star (neuroretinitis) is presented. Neuroretinitis is discussed in detail. A discussion of important laboratory studies to diagnose the etiology of her neuroretinitis is presented. This patient was found to have tuberculosis with neuroretinitis and this diagnosis is discussed in detail as well as management and clinical course are discussed.
