Brief Description: This is a powerpoint presentation of visual evoked potentials. It discusses the generation of VEPs and the types of VEPS. Case studies with VEPS are shown for the following conditions: optic neuritis, neurofibromatosis type 1, cerebral palsy, orbital mass, neuroblastoma, orbital fracture, optic nerve pallor, ethambutol toxicity, meningeal tuberculosis, and Aicardi syndrome. Multifocal VEPs are also discussed. Cases shown using multifocal VEPs include: Ischemic optic neuropathy, and optic nerve glioma.
