Diagnosis: Neuroretinitis
Brief Description: This is a case study of a teenage female who presented with neck pain, neck stiffness, tinnitus, and blurry vision OU. On examination, dilated fundoscopic exam showed disc edema and macular star OU and mild vitreous cell. A discussion of the extensive differential diagnosis and methods of differentiating these items including appropriate laboratory testing are discussed. A discussion of the differences between neuroretinitis and optic disc edema with macular star is presented.
