Brief Description: This is a review of the advantages and disadvantages, as compared to traditional phacoemulsification, of femtosecond laser assisted cataract surgery. Surgicalvideo of femtosecond cataract surgery is presented. A description of techniques of femtosecond-assisted cataract surgery is undertaken. Many cases of difficult cataract surgery including pseudoexfoliation, marfan’s syndrome, intumescent cataract, and loose zonules are shown.
