Brief Description: This is a case presentation of a middle-aged male who is immunocompromised due to HIV/AIDS who presented with altered mental status and altered visual acuity in the right eye. He was diagnosed with CMV retinitis. A discussion of the CMV virus, its clinical course in the retina, etiology, and management of CMV retinitis is presented. Stagin of CMV retinitis is also discussed.
