Brief Description: This is a clinical summary of temporal arteritis (giant cell arteritis). The history and clinical features are discussed in detail. Pathophysiology and treatment, including new information regarding the use of antibiotics  as an adjunct in temporal arteritis are given. Most high yield symptoms are given. A discussion of the possible role of infectious agents is given.
