Brief Description: This is a presentation of small incision lenticular extraction (SMILE), a relatively new intralase-based refractive surgery available internationally. A detailed discussion of SMILE including the advantages and disadvantages of SMILE. Surgical videos are shown as well as as review and new data from outcomes in Nepal and internationally. At the time of this presentation SMILE was not approved byt the FDA in the United States.
