Brief Description: This is a case presentation of a male infant who presented with neurofibromatosis type 1. The presentation includes a discussion of the diagnostic criteria, clinical course, treatment, and prognosis of neurofibromatosis 1 (NF1). It also includes specific information about orbitofacial neurofibromatosis, a subset of NF1. The pathophysiology and molecular etiology of NF-1 are also discussed.
